Regulation of Phygital Racing
Phygital takes to the racing track. Races of a new format will take place in Kazan. What’s the point?
Pilots are to prove themselves both on the virtual track of Assetto Corsa and in karting.
Eight teams consisting of two sportsmen each will participate in the tournament.
The competition will be held in a relay format, so that both team members can ride the distance in both universes.
The first pilot starts from the karting track, then passes the baton onto the second one, who covers the distance on a car simulator in the game, on the third stage one needs to take to a real track again, but now it’s the turn of the second pilot, and the first pilot is driving to the finish line in the virtual universe.
In karting, kart drivers must complete 20 laps, while in Assetto Corsa 10 laps. Karts and virtual cars are placed on the track at the start of the competition, based on the results shown in qualifications. The first person to cross the finish line wins.
