Beat Saber is a VR rhythm game where you slash the two-colored figures to the beat of music as they fly towards you with virtual swords of corresponding colors. Participants pass rounds on the Expert+ level. At the first Phygital Games four players compete with each other according to the rules of the Double Elimination system. It means the losers of the first round are not eliminated but rather compete with each other just like the winners do. In the 2nd and 3rd round the contestant with the least number of win is out. In every battle players compete up to 3 wins and up to 5 in the finals. ‘Virtual fencers’ will receive a list of musical tracks before each duel so that they can cross out those they don’t like until the right number of musical compositions is left.
