Phygital basketball consists of two events: first, the players begin competing on a basketball simulator and then, having gleaned the points in this virtual reality they take to the real basketball court to determine the best player there. The first part of the match, the digital one, is played according to the interactive 3х3 basketball rules (3 players in each team) in the Pro-Am 3х3 format on a Sony PlayStation 5 console. The second part of the clash is held on a real basketball court in the 3х3 format. There are three players on every team and one substitute. The winner of the match is determined based on the aggregate number of points scored at both stages of the match. If the score is even, a series of after-match free throws will determine the winner.
