The Washington Capitals left winger Alexander Ovechkin is to play at NHL’22 tournament in Moscow to show his phygital skills. Everyone admires his talent on the ice and how the hockey star will cope with the virtual reality, everyone will learn on August 13. The event will take place in Luzhniki.
OVICYBERCUP has three divisions: Pro, Semi-pro и Amateur. If only invited players can compete in the first two categories, then in the third one everyone who gets qualified can participate and vie for the 1 mln RUR worth prize fund.
Oveckhin has already paid attention to eSports several times. This time he invited to join the event the top streamer Slava Buster who promise to go on stream with the hockey player:
”I have never played hockey! Well, I hope he will show me several tricks in the locker room and that we will stream right from the match”.
The organizers of the event promise to please the spectators not only with the tournament with such an impressive headliner but also with master-classes in popular eSports disciplines, with meetings with professional esportsmen to showcase all the facets of sport.
