Glory to the Athlete! On August 13 Kazan will celebrate the Athlete Day on a grand scale. The celebration will cover three arenas at once: the extreme-park “Uram”, the stadium “Trudoviye reservy” (“Labor reserves”) and the territory adjacent to the Palace of aquatics.
Bearing in mind the year 2024, the dwellers of Kazan already began mastering phygital disciplines. The football tournament where the players will compete both on a real pitch and on a game console will be held at the stadium “Labor reserves” next weekend. The aggregate result is based on the sum of two events – the football match on a real pitch and on a football simulator. So, the participants face quite an arduous task as they need to put on display their skills on real football, and prove their mettle in virtual reality, too.
The program of the sport festival is quite vast, the guests can pick and choose are poised to watch amateur and professional tournaments, autograph-sessions with professional athletes from different sport disciplines, a master-class in boxing, a charity race.
