The first open modern student games in the format of the Games of Future will be held on May 14-15 on the basis of the Russian State University of Physical Culture, Sports, Youth and Tourism (RSUPCSYT). The Russian Sports Ministry and the RSUPCSYT will act as the organizers.
Students of eight Russian universities will participate. The Games represent 6 types of modern double-event:
- Unmanned aviation: drone simulator + drone
- Military tactical: videogame CS:GO + VR-strike-ball
- Basketball: videogame NBA2K + 3×3 basketball
- Football: videogame FIFA + mini-football
- Automobile: videogame Assetto Corsa + karting
- Hockey: videogame NHL + 3×3 hockey

The Games of Future are an international sports event, the synergy of the most spectacular physical and digital sports disciplines. The inaugural Games will be held in Russia in 2024 – the city-organizer will be selected in June 2022 based on the results of the bidding campaign.
